Von der Seilbahn-Bergstation oberhalb der Schaubachhütte im hinteren Suldental zieht der Weg hinauf zur Madritschhütte. Über Schipisten und teilweise weglos ging es hinauf zur Vorderen Schöntaufspitze (3214) und weiter über den breiten Verbindungsgrat zur Hinteren Schöntaufspitze (3325). Von hier ging ich südwärts hinab ins Madritschjoch, zurück in Richtung Seilbahnstation und an dieser vorbei bis nach Sulden.
