Die mittelschwere Sonnenloipe in Neuberg ist 5 km lang und hat 121 Höhenmeter. Aufgrund der wunderbar sonnigen Lage mit der herrlichen Aussicht wurde dieser Loipe der Name zu Recht verliehen. Eine weitere Besonderheit ist der kleine Biathlonschießstand gegenüber vom Hotel Neubergerhof.

Neuberg ist ein Ortsteil der Salzburger Gemeinde Filzmoos. 4km östlich von Filzmoos biegt man von der Landesstraße L219 in Richtung Norden ab und erreicht nach weiteren 2,5 km das Hotel Neubergerhof.
