Von St.Ulrich-alte Puflerstrasse nach Compatsch-bis Hotel Panorama- Richtung Hotel Goldknopf- weiter zur Almrosen Hütte (Super Essen) weiter zur Mahknecht Hütte, dann rechts den Steig mit Verbotsschild für Radfahrer ( oder Forststraße runter und wieder hoch ca. 250hm mehr) am ende immer Richtung Zallinger (auf 2054m Super Aussicht auf der Sonnenterasse und eine Hervorragende Gastronomie mit Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten Tel. +39-0471-727947) - dort oberhalb beginnt das letzte Stück der bekannten Hero strecke Richtung Wolkenstein und zuletzt nach St.Ulrich den alten Zug weg entlang.
