Forstwege und Trails wechseln sich ab. Die letzte Etappe von Küstelberg nach Brilon hat mehrere Tragepassagen, ansonsten ist eigentlich alles fahrbar.
Wir haben uns vier Tage Zeit genommen. Übernachtungsstationen sind mit angegeben.

Startpunkt Dillenburg ist per Bahn erreichbar.
Die Bahnverbindungen von Brilon sind meist nicht so gut, daher sind wir gleich bis nach Brilon Wald gefahren und haben dort den Zug genommen.
