Startpunkt der Tour ist ein Parkplatz unterhalb der Burg Spangenberg. Die Strecke führt um den Wasserstein herum zunächst zur Wolfsschluchhütte und anschließend wieder zurück in Richtung Speyerbachtal. Der Abschluss der Tour findet in der Burg Spangenberg statt, von der man sehr schön hinunter ins Speyerbachtal blicken kann.
