Die Kennzeichnung "S" ist durchweg gut zu finden.
Im Sommer gibt es sicherlich mehrere Einkehrmöglichkeiten an den einzelnen Seen.
Als Rundweg sind mehrere Startmöglichkeiten gegeben.

Je nach Startpunkt stehen sehr Viele Parkplätze zur Verfügung, die an den Seen aber oft kostenpflichtig sind.
Die Empfehlung der Internetseite "Naturpark Rheinland":
Mit dem PKW bieten sich besonders die Parkplätze „Grubenweg" und "Donatussee" an. Weitere Parkplätze gibt es am Bahnhof Erftstadt, am Liblarer See, am Heider Bergsee, am Bleibtreusee und am Wasserturm.
Mit der Bahn ist der Bahnhof Erftstadt (RE12, RE22, RB24) nächstgelegen.
Folgende Bushaltestellen liegen direkt am Wanderweg: „Bahnhof Erftstadt“ (920, 955, 977, 979, 990), „Liblarer See“ (979, 990), „Heide“ (979), „Freiheitsstr.“ (990), „Heider Bergsee“ (990) und „Am Wasserturm“ (705).
