Vom Parkplatz auf dem Forstweg ins Hubalmtal zur Grundbrücke. Hier links den Wegweisern folgend zur Hirschgrubenalm (WP 117), die nach 1 1/4 Std. erreicht wird. Auf dem Steig weiter durch den Wald bergwärts zur Aschlreitalm. Über die Wiese aufwärts zum Kamm und zuerst leicht absteigend, dann unterhalb des Spielkogels hinauf zur Hühnerkarscharte (WP 118), 2 1/2 Std.
Jenseits der Scharte hinunter zur Hühnerkaralm (WP 119) und zur Hubalm (WP 120), 4 Std.
Von dort auf der Forststraße zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Auf der A10 bis zur Ausfahrt Bischofshofen, weiter nach St. Johann und über die Landesstraße nach Großarl und Hüttschlag. Durch den Ort vorbei am Kindergarten bis zu einem kleinen Parkplatz.
