Von der Watzmann Therme in Berchtesgaden geht es zuerst auf Asphalt über den Wanderparkplatz Hinterbrand. Weiter über die Königsbachalm um dann den letzen Anstieg zur Gotzenalm und dem Aussichtspunkt Feuerpalfen. Zurück geht es den Selben Weg. Fahrtechnik ist nicht besonders gefragt, daür aber die Kondition. Die Landschaft und die Aussicht auf den Königssee entschädigt aber.
