Vom Deister-Süntel-MTB-Verleih über befestigte Feldwege an der Bussenmühle/Schmarrie vorbei, durchs Waltherbachtal (schönes naturbelassenes Tal) zum Ende hin kleiner Trailanstieg, immer schön dicht am Bach bleiben. Bei den Wegweisern rechts einen Pattweg hinunter zwischen den zaunbesäumten Wiesen hindurch. Am Wanderparkplatz Waltherbachtal links hinauf, an der Dorfhauptstraße rechts für ca. 1km. An der Dorfkneipe links, nach 100m wieder rechts, bis zum Ende des gps tracks. Hier beginnt die rote Deister Runde 1+2. Richtung Kölnischfeld.
Als Zubringer zur Roten Deister Runde 1+2
Lässt sich auch in entgegengesetzter Richtung schön flowig bergab fahren
