Vom Parkplatz hinter der Volksschule geht es rasch steil bergauf was den Vorteil hat das man den Nockstein in windeseile erklimmt. Im Gipfelbereich ist jedoch Vorsicht geboten da der Nockstein fast senkrecht abfaellt.
