Der Rundweg führt teils über den Almeradweg im südlichen Kreis Paderborn. Die Route besteht in weiten Bereichen aus wunderschön ruhigen Nebenwegen. Am besten man folgt dem Track von Wewelsburg aus Richtung Ahden und Brenken. Dann hat man zwischen Brenken und Salzkotten einen herrlichen Blick Richtung Tiefebene Salzkotten und eine ebenso angenehme Abfahrt.

Startpunkt war für mich der "Markant Markt" in Büren-Wewelsburg (Salzkottener Straße, L 751). Anfahrt von Paderborn aus Richtung Flughafen Paderborn-Lippstadt. Beschilderung "Wewelsburg" folgen. Die "Salzkottener Straße" (l 751) ist die Hauptdurchgangsstraße von Wewelsburg.
