Beschreibung:
Eingebettet in die hügelige Landschaft thront über Mirbach die beeindruckende Erlöserkirche. Hier nimmt man die Spur des Eifelsteigs Richtung Süden auf, wo die reizvolle Landschaft der Vulkaneifel beginnt. Abwechslungsreich führt der Weg mal durch offenes Gelände, mal durch bewaldete Regionen nach Südosten. Auf der Höhe von Leudersdorf verlässt der Wanderer Nordrhein-Westfalen und betritt endgültig Rheinland-Pfalz, wo es mit viel Abwechslung durch die Orte Kerpen und Hillesheim geht.
