Mit dem Bus 135 von London Transport fahren wir bis nach "Canary Wharf Station". Von hier wandern wir mit einer Stadtführerin an Hafenbecken vorbei, teilweise entlang der Themse, dann passieren wir das Limehouse Bassin (Yachthafen) und gehen zur Limehouse Station der DLR (Docklands Light Railway), einer automatischen Hochbahn ohne Fahrer. Sie bringt uns zur Station "Tower Gateway" in der Nähe der Tower Brücke. Ab da wandern wir durch die City mit ihren imposanten Hochhäusern. Zwischendurch stärkent wir uns in einem traditionellen Pub "The Counting House" von Fullers gelegen 50 Cornhill (www.the-counting-house.com/). Danach geht vorbei an der alten Royal Exchange, der Bank of England, der Guildhall, St. Paul's zur London Stock Exhange.
