6-Maare-Tour
Diese Rundtour führte uns vom kleinen Ort Mehren zunächst zum Pulvermaar. Dann weiter zum Hozmaar, Meerfelder Maar, Gemündener Maar, Weinfelder Maar und Schalkenmehrener Maar. Die Strecke weist durchaus anspruchsvolle Steigungen auf und führt hin und wieder auch über nicht asphaltierte Abschnitte durch den Wald. Entlastung bieten dann der Maare-Mosel-Radweg, der z. T. befahren wird und der Kosmos-Radweg. Insgesamt eine traumhaft schöne Strecke. - Wir haben im kleinen Ort Mehren gewohnt. Selbstverständlich kann man diesen Zufahrts- und Rückwegschlenker einsparen und an jedem anderen beliebigen Ort in die Tour einsteigen.
