Die Wanderung erfordert keine gesonderten alpinen Kenntnisse. Im Bereich der kurzen Gradwanderung beim Hahnkampl Trittsicherheit. Die Wanderung kann in beiden Richtungen begangen werden, es wird aber empfohlen nachfolgende Runde zu gehen falls man in die Lamsenjochhütte einkehren will (wer will schon nach der Hüttenpause weiter aufsteigen :-) )
