Von Telfes aus kontinuierlich auf steilem Forstweg hinauf. Über den Halsl zur Saile. Grandioser Ausblick ins Stubaital, Inntal und das Karwendelgebirge. Der Abstieg erfolgt über den Sailennieder zur Pfarrachalm. Von hier über den Hirtensteig und den Forstweg zurück ins Tal.

In Telfes ist es etwas schwierig einen Parkplatz finden. Zumindest ging es uns so. An vielen Stellen ist Parken verboten (Stubay, Hotels, ...). Wir haben letztendlich in einer Seitenstraße nahe des Spars geparkt.
