Vom Schützenfestplatz in Hollfeld geht es durch den Stadtwald und am Steinbruch bei Pilgerndorf vorbei. Das Lochautal wird durchquert und auf dem Mittelberg zur Knockhütte gegangen. Sie ist an Sonn- und Feiertagen bewirtschaftet. Der Rückweg führt über Schönfeld und Pilgerndorf auf der Alten Reichsstraße durch den Stadtwald nach Hollfeld.
