Die Grundlage für diese Ganztagswanderung ist der Track "Igel 1 "aus einer Broschüre von der Touristinformation Trier_Luxemburg. Wirs starten an der Igeler Säule, einem römischen Grabmal, über Liersberg geht ies nach Mesenich zum Johannishof. Es ist für uns eine beliebte Einkehr. Zurück geht es vorbei am Grutenhäuschen - ebenfalls römisch - nach Igel.
