Die Tour beginnt an an der Villa Ludwigshöhe. Von dort aus geht es erst in Richtung Schweizerhaus und dann hoch auf den Blättersberg, auf dem wir zuerst den Ludwigsturm erreichen. Auf dem Sattel des Blätterberges geht es weiter zur Rietburg und von dort auf einem verwunschenen Serpentinenpfad hinunter zum Ausgangspunkt. Wenn des vorher geregnet hat benötigt man für diesen eine gewisse Trittsicherheit.
