Wandern durch eine hübsche Weide- und Wiesenlandschaft. Auf naturnahen Wegen wartet an der Donau ein herrlicher Biergarten auf den Wanderer. Nach einem weiteren Kilometer an der Donau entlang führt der Weg leicht ansteigend zum Sandberg mit Resten eines römischen Legionslagers. Weitläufige Trockenhänge bestimmen das Bild der Landschaft.
