Vom Bahnhof Gross-Umstadt Mitte geht es durch die Altstadt zur Stadthalle. Dort beginnt der Panoramweg U1. Es geht am Friedhof vorbei durch die Heubacher Hohl zum Eselsberg. Die offene Landschaft erlaubt Weitblicke ins Land und zur Veste Otzberg. Anschliessend führt der Weg durch den Wals zum Naturtreff und zum 'Frankfurt Blick'. Nun geht hinunter in Raibacher Tal und dann steil den Berg hinauf zur Weinlage Steingerück. Der Weg zurück zur Stadthalle führt durch einen Park und ich gehe weiter zum Bahnhof.
