Mit wenig Ausblicken auf die umliegende Landschaft führt diese Wanderung auf bequemen Forstwegen vorbei am Brombergkopf und Kibfelsen auf einen der aussichtsreichsten Schwarzwald- Gipfel. Die letzten 3 km geht es auf schmalen und steilen Pfaden steil bergauf zum Gipfel.

Die Wanderung beginnt in der Seminarstraße am Übergang der Bahnlinie. Für den Rückweg kann man die Seilbahn, Bus und Straßenbahn benutzen.
