Ab in den Süden! Doch geschenkt wird einem hier nichts. Ein ständiges Auf und Ab, das mit einigen landschaftlichen Höhepunkten belohnt wird. Zuerst geht es durch den Naturpark Hohes Venn, der durch sein Hochmoor beeindruckt. An der Grenze Deutschland/Luxemburg ist besonders die mittelalterliche Ortschaft von Viadem sehnswert (Burg, mittelalterliches Ortsbild). Im letzten Abschnitt folgt man der Alzette bis Luxemburg. Hier wird man von einem eigentlich harmlosen Schlußanstieg erwartet, doch nach fast 170 km wird jede Mücke zum Elefanten...
