Vom Ausgangspunkt bei der Hahnenkammbahn zuerst parallel zur Streif-Hillclimb Strecke, bald aber nach Südosten führt diese Berglaufstrecke auf Forstwegen oberhalb der idyllisch gelegenen Einsiedelei Richtung Ehrenbach. Weiter verläuft sie immer oberhalb des Bachs - größtenteils im Wald - vorbei an der Ehrenbachkapelle bis hinauf zur Melkalm. Über freie Almwiesen gelangt man Richtung Norden zum Zielpunkt bei der Bergstation der Hahnenkammbahn.
