Von der Ortsmitte Waidring (787 m) über die Mautstraße (asphaltiert) ca. 5 km mit durchschnittlich 15 % Steigung zum Parkplatz Steinpaltte (1422 m) und weiter zunächst asphaltiert dann auf Forstautobahnen zur Möseralm und von dort mit einigem Auf und Ab zwischen 100 und 200 Höhenmetern zur Loferer Alm (1468 m). Dort Einkehr im Haus Schönblick zu empfehlen. Super nette Wirtin mit wohlschmeckenden Kaiserscharn. Von dort zwar wieder asphaltiert, aber mit langer Abfahrt nach Lofer (655m) und zurück auf Waldweg und Asphalt nach Waidring. Tolle Ausblicke auf die Bergwelt Tirols, des Pfinzgaus und des Berchtesgardener Lands, konditionell ansprechend, fahrtechnisch ohne Herausforderung.
