Der Schwarzwald ist ein Rennrad-Paradies. Die Tour beginnt im Schuttertal, ca. 30 km nördlich von Freiburg, in der Nähe von Lahr. Die Strecke führt zum größten Teil über absolut ruhige Nebenstraßen. Lediglich die erste 10 km muss man sich mit dem anderen Verkehr teilen.
Dafür bekommt man eine grandiose Landschaft zu sehen und hat auf weiten Teilen die Straßen in besten Zustand für sich alleine.
Es gibt allerdings einige Anstiege zu bewältigen (kurzzeitig auch Rampen von 17%), was im Schwarzwald aber keinen überraschen wird.
