Die Tour führt über Waldwege und gut ausgebaute, verkehrsarme Straßen. Die Strecke enthält wenige Steigungen und ist auch für ungeübte Radler geeignet (42 km).
Vom S-Bahnhof in Holzkirchen geht die Fahrt über Buch, zum Kirchsee (Bademöglichkeit) und dem Kloster Reutberg, wo ein Biergarten mit Alpenpanorama zur Rast einlädt. Weiter geht`s über Warngau, Unterdarching und Sollach zurück zum S-Bahnhof Holzkirchen.
Die Trackdaten wurden am 1.8.09 und 25.9.11 aktualisiert (Nachfahren der Strecke).
