Startpunkt der tour ist das große Möbelhaus hinter dem Bahnhof Amberg. Von dort geht es über den Erzberg nach Fuchsstein und durch den alten Bundeswehrübungsplatz an Ammerthal vorbei. An Naturdenkmal und Autobahn entlang Richtung Ursensollen und Hohenkemnath. Zurück nach Amberg gehts auf einem recht verwurzelten Wanderweg. Auf diesem Teil der Strecke finden sich selbst am Wegrand hervorragende Schwammerl.
