Der Rundweg A1 beginnt am Wanderparkplatz Nachtigallstraße und führt von dort vorbei am Schloss Steinhausen und der Burgruine Hardenstein durch den Stadtforst Muttental.
Einkehrmöglichkeiten gibt es im Schloss Steinhausen und in der Gaststätte „Alte Tür“ an der Berghauser Straße.
