Als Startplatz bietet sich die Ortsmitte in Durbach bei der Kirche an. Von hier geht es der gelben Raute folgend bis hinauf zum Schloß Staufenberg. Hier lässt sich trefflich einkehren. Auf der Freiterasse kann man die warme Sonne geniessen, währendessen man die badische Spezialitäten verkosten kann. Vom Schloß Staufenberg wandern wir hinüber zur Brandstetter Kapelle und überqueren die Straße hinauf zur Stürzelbach Höhe. Hier geht es wieder leicht eben und dann hinunter nach Durbach. Am Gasthof Rebstock wandern wir entlang des Durbaches bis zu unserem Ausgangspunkt in der Ortsmitte bei der Kirche
