Dies ist die seit vielen Jahren genutzte Radstrecke des ironman Frankfurt. Es handelt sich um den Streckenteil der zweimal zu durchfahren ist (also ohne die Anfahrt vom Langener Waldsee). Ausserdem wurde die Fahrt durch die Innenstadt ausgespart, da diese durch den Autoverkehr nicht besonders reizvoll ist.
