Leg eight of the "Rudopia" trail. The trail follows the highest parts of Perelishko - Prespanski Ridge, mostly above 1500 meters. The beginning of the trail is near Finlandia Hotel. From this point it goes down, up and down again to reach the famous Rozhen Pass - site of the big folklore festival. From Rozhen the track follows the asphalt road in eastern direction towards Haidushki Polyani located some 12 km away. Great views of the Rhodopi Mountains are provided in southern direction. After Haidushki Polyani the track climbs up to Prespa Hut with great view to the south. Funny trail links Prespa Hut with Svoboda Hut (1.5 hrs) located in the slopes of Mt Momchil (Enihan Baba)- one of the most panoramic peaks of the Rhodopes.
