Ideale Vorbereitungstour in der Region Stuttgart für Gebirgstouren im Sommer. Schnelle und günstige Verbindungen mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu Anfahrtspunkt und von Endpunkt zurück sind dadurch gegeben, dass sich die Tour noch innnerhalb des VVS-Gebiets (Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart) bewegt.
Die Wanderung läuft teilweise am Albtrauf entlang und schließt 4 Berge bzw. Aussichtspunkte (Hohenneuffen, Hörnle, Jusi, Floriansverg) ein. Von Frühjahr bis Herbst als Wanderung sehr gut geeignet. Einkehrmöglichkeiten bestehen in Beuren, Burg Hohenneuffen sowie Grafenberg.
