Wir sind mit dem Zug nach Freudenstadt gefahren. Vom Bahnhof aus ging es einige Kilometer gut bergauf (siehe Höhenprofil). Wer das vermeiden will sollte ggf. eine andere Station zum Aussteigen nutzen. Wenn der höchste Punkt erreicht ist gehts durch befestigte jedoch selten geteerte (Wald) Wege bis Loßburg. Ab Loßburg ist die Strecke sehr einfach und durch vorbildliche Beschilderung sehr leicht zu finden.
Insgesamt eine sehr schöne meist familientaugliche Strecke. Meist - da die Strecke an einem Stück linksseitig auf einem schmalen "Gehsteig" und unübersichtlich direkt an der Hauptstrasse entlang führt. Hier sollte man bewußt langsam radeln, da der Gegenverkehr "radtypisch" auf dem selben Weg entgegen kommt.
