Der Steyrtalradweg führt auf dem aufgelassenen Streckenabschnitt der Steyrtal Schmalspurbahn zwischen Grünburg und Klaus und ist durchgehend asphaltiert. Durch die geringen Steigungen ist er für Kinder bestens geeignet.
Für die Rückfahrt habe ich eine Route über Ramsau und Molln gewählt. Da diese Route mehrere Steigungen aufweist und auf einer wenig befahrenen Straße führt ist diese Variante für Kinder weniger geeignet.
