Von Hermeskeil führt diese Abendrunde auf einigen Singletrails der Dörrenbach entlang Richtung Hohe Wurzel. An der Stelle wo wir von dem parallel verlaufenden Weg zur B52 links in den Wald abbogen kann man auch weiter hoch fahren und an der nächsten Kreuzung links den Berg runter abbiegen, um die kurze Passage auf der B52 zu vermeiden. Wenn man dann oben die B52 quert folgt eine Abfahrt nach Reinsfeld. Hinter Reinsfeld folgt man der Wadrill bis zum Keller Steg. Beim Steg folgt man dem Saar-Hunsrück-Steig bis hinter der Autobahnunterführung.
