2.Etappe von Hildesheim zum Fürther Rathaus. Wegen einer Baustelle wird die Umleitungsstrecke nach Neustadt a.d.S. gewählt; ist etwas bergig, aber durchaus empfehlenswert. Der direkte Weg über die B19 ist aber mindestens gleichwertig.
Die B8 nach Neustadt a.d.A. erfordert die größte mentale Stärke. Bei Ostwind geht es quälend langsam voran. Ab Neustadt a.d.A. wird es auf jeden Fall bergig, aber abseits der Bundesstraße ist es recht erträglich.
Gott sei Dank treffe ich in Langenzenn 4 Rennradler in Richtung Fürth. Im Windschatten werden aus den 27km/h eben mal 32km/h und da es hier keine Steigung gibt, kann man auch noch ein paar Worte wechseln.
