Start in Manebach über Goehte-Wanderweg nach Ilmenau. Von dort geht es hinauf zur Bobhütte. Der Weg führt teilweise über die alte Bobbahn. Vorsicht: kreuzende Downhillstrecke! Von der Bobhütte hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf und um Ilmenau. Nach eine sanften Abfahrt beginnt ab der Ochsenwiese ein kleiner Signle-Trail bis Knöpfeltaler Teich. Durch den Breiten Grund kommt man zum Auerhahn. Von hier beginnt der Aufstieg zum Kickelhahn. Die Abfahrt führt dann über den Hermannsweg wieder direkt nach Manebach.
