im Juli 2006 habe ich am Cyclefeast in Berwick upon Tweed teilgenommen. Für die An- und Abreise zu diesem einwöchigen Event habe ich eine Rundtour von Glasgow über Edinburgh, Berwick upon Tweed, Selkirk, Tweedsmuir, Bigger, Lenark zurück nach Glasgow gemacht. Hierbei habe ich Teilstücke der offiziellen Fahrradrouten Nr. 75 und Nr. 1 benutzt. Teilweise bin ich auch über stärker befahrene Straßen gefahren, um die Reisezeit nach Berwick upon Tweed etwas abzukürzen.

Die Anreise ab Deutschland erfolgte per Flug nach Glasgow International in Paisley, wenige km nordwestlich von Glasgow. Direkt am Flughafen beginnt eine ausgeschilderte Radroute ins Zentrum von Glasgow.
