Startpunkt dieser Strecke Herrenberg Alzentalstraße, Nähe Bahnhof. Von dort an den Tennisanlagen vorbei richtung Gültstein. Durch die Baumwiesen nach Mönchberg. Durch Mönchberg stetig gut 100 Höhenmeter hoch zum Mönchberger Sattel. Sanft bergab im Schönbuch zur Fresseiche, kurz steil bergan und weiter zum Waldfriedhof Herrenberg. Über das Freizeitgelände "Alter Rain" und den Wanderparkplatz "Rotes Meer" hinunter nach Herrenberg. Die Strecke bietet zu jeder Jahreszeit herrliche Eindrücke der Baumwiesen, des Schönbuchs und Ausblicke über das Gäu. Streckenbelag ca. 50/50 besfestigter Waldweg und Asphalt. Für Wanderer und Radler bietet das Naturfeundehaus am Wanderparkplatz Waldfriedhof eine nette Einkehrmöglichkeit.
