Der Miesing mit seinen zwei Gipfeln Hoch- und Dürrmiesing ist ein bisschen unscheinbarer Gipfel. Für Wintertouren aber gut geeignet, da ein großer Teil des Weges (bis zur Schellenbergalm und dann wieder ab der Kleintiefenthalalm) führt auf Forstwegen. Die Pfade sind leicht zu gehen und unproblematisch.
Sehr schön ist der Teil am Soinsee vorbei und dann hinauf zm Miesingsattel und zum Gipfel. Bei guter Sicht sieht man den kompletten Hauptkamm, da der Hochmiesing hoch genug ist.
Wir hatten super Aussicht, allerdings auch Föhnsturm, so dass es am Gipfel nicht sehr gemütlich war. Aber trotzdem schön.

Über die A8 in Wayern abfahren und Richtung Miesbach, Schliersee Richtung BAyrischzell fahren. Rechts nach Geitau durch den Ort fahren. Am Ende kommt ein Wanderparkplatz.
Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos.
