Aufstieg über den Ostgrat
Aufstiegszeit ca. 3:30 h
Am Ende von St. Lorenzen biegt man links ab Richtung Frohntal (siehe GoogleMap). Der Start befindet sich an einer Kehre wo man auch parken kann.
Weiter durch das Frohntal bis zur Frohnalm und weiter zum Hochweißsteinhaus. Unsere Aufstiegsvariante folgte dem Ostgrat zum Hochalpl. Es gibt auch eine Variante über eine breite Rinne über den Westgrat.
Gute Bedingungen sind für beide Varianten obligatorisch.
Nach erfolgreichem Aufstieg kann man bei guten Verhältnissen eine traumhafte Abfahrt genießen. Durch das Tal kommt man groß teils ohne schupfen bis zum Auto.
