Eine schöne Eingehtour im Tourengebiet von Sterzing. Der hohe Ausgangspunkt (ca. 1400 m) und die Nordhänge sind Garant für Schneesicherheit.
Ausgangspunkt ist der Parkplatz am kleinen Entholzer Skilift. Dort besteht nach der Tour auch eine Einkehrmöglichkeit.
Zunächst links neben der Piste bis zum Ende des Skilifts. Dann kurze, leicht fallende Querung nach links und nur anfangs steiler Aufstieg im Wald. Man erreicht die Innere Wurzer Alm. Links aufwärts, dann auf einem Rücken zum Gipfel, 2167m. Möglicherweise liegt der richtige Gipfel etwas weiter westlich und ist 50 m höher, aber auch ohne Gipfelkreuz.
Wir fuhren eher rechtshaltend Richtung Äußere Wurzer Alm ab und fellten etwa bei Höhe 2000 m nochmals an und stiegen zum kreuzgeschmückten Mareiter Stein (2192m) auf. Die Abfahrt erfolgte etwa entlang des Aufstiegs.
