Diese Tour führt von Münster an den Dümmer See, dabei wird Osnabrück, das auf der Luftlinie liegt, östlich umfahren. Der Teutoburger Wald muss dabei über zwei Höhenzüge passiert werden (bei Borgholzhausen und bei Buer im nördlichen Teuto).
Die Route führt hinter Borgholzhausen noch etwas weiter nach Osten, weil mir die Gegend bis Spenge so gut gefällt.
Es schliesst sich noch eine Umrundung des Dümmer Sees an, die auf einem gemütlichen, aber teilweise holprigen Weg durch die Uferzone (Naturschutzgebiet) verläuft.

Start am alten Bahnhof in Mecklenbeck, kann aber überall in Münster erfolgen, das man am besten auf der Warendorfer Straße in Richtung Telgte verlässt.
