Start der Rundwanderung ist der Parkplatz am Col du Silberjoch. Hier ist eine riesege Gedenkstätte für die gefallenen Soldaten am Harmannsweilerkopf im ersten Weltkrieg. Auf dem Weg zum Hartmannsweilerkopf sind die Laufgräben, Bunker und Gefechtsstände noch überall sichtbar. Weiter geht es über die Ferme Auberge Freundstein über den Riesenkopf (1087 m) zur Ferme Auberge Molkenrain. Beide Fermen sind sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Von Freiburg nach Mulhouse auf der N66 in Richtung Thann und nach ca. 10 km recht nach Cernay abbiegen. In Uffholtz links auf die D431 abbiegen zum Col du Silberjoch (ca. 12 km)
