Steiler (nur-)Aufstieg vom Dörfchen Kruen bis kurz unterhalb des Fischbachkopfes. Es handelt sich um eine befestigte Schotterstraße, die auch von Autos befahren wird. Oberhalb liegt eine bewirtete Hütte, die aber (Vorsicht!) ab Mitte Sept. geschlossen wird. So ist es uns an einem 15.9. passiert, da diese am 14.9. für den Winter abgeschlossen wurde.
Für bevorstehende Touren durch das nahe Karwendelmassiv oder Runden um die Zugspitze ein toller Einstieg und wenn es nicht stark regnet schon allwettertauglich, da relativ dichter Wald vorhanden ist.
