Die Drei-Schlösser-Route (Rundtour)
Die gesamte Tour ist so geplant, das verkehrsreiche Straßen vermieden werden.
Ausgehend vom Bochumer Rathaus fahren wir die Erzbahntrasse Richtung Rhein-Herne-Kanal. Entlang des Kanals fahren wir die Hugo-Bahn zum Schloss Berge.
Über Feld- und Waldwege erreichen wir Alt-Westerholt und das Schloss Westerholt.
Das nächste Ziel ist das Schloss Herten. Von dort au fahren wir durch den Emscherbruch zurück zur Erzbahntrasse. Am Dreieck "Erzbahntrasse - Kray-Wanner-Bahn", also an Müllers Bude, kann man sich entscheiden, ob man den Weg zur Bochumer City oder zum Bahnhof in Wattenscheid nimmt.
