Wieder eine "kindergeeignete" Tour hinterm Deich.
Von Leybuchtspolder, oder wer will auch von Greetsiel aus, nach Upleward zum Trockenstrand.
Die Tour führt am Pilsumer Leuchtturm ("Oto-Turm") vorbei Richtung Emden. Konditionell ist sie wenig anspruchsvoll. Unterwegs wird das Denkmal für die Deutschen Deicharbeiter passiert, hier ist eine minimale Steigung zu nehmen... aber nicht der Rede wert.
Man kann die Tour entweder vor oder hinter dem Deich fahren. Vor dem Deich fegt aber gewöhnlich eine steife Brise.
Am Trockenstrand gibt es hinter dem Deich WC-Anlagen und einen Kiosk mit Duschen, direkt am Parkplatz.
