Start in Oberaudorf, an der Talstation Hockeck-Bahn. Von dort geht es auf einem asphaltierten, aber steilen Weg in ca. einer Stunde zur Bergstation mit Gasthaus. Rast möglich. Bis hier kann man auch mit dem Auto fahren und parken.
Anschließend geht es links vom Gasthof an den Ziegen vorbei bis zum Waldrand. Der Weg ist im Wald markiert durch - nur noch schwach sichtbare - orange-farbene Punkte und durch gut sichtbare weiß-gelbe Markierungen. Aufstieg auf dem schmalen Pfad bis zur Alm in ca. einer Stunde.
Abstieg über den Fahrweg - nur für sehr geländegängige Fahrzeuge geeignet. Man ist nach ca. einer Stunde wieder an einer asphaltiertenStraße, die für normale Pkw fahrbar ist. Wer zu Fuß weitergeht - bis zum Ausgangspunkt Oberaudorf, Talstation - ist nochmal ca. eine Stunde auf der Straße unterwegs.

Anfahrt bei freier Autobahn über die Inntalautobahn, Abfahrt Oberaudorf. Der andere Weg ist über die Alpenstraße, von Bayrisch Zell am Sudelfeld und Tatzelwurm vorbei nach Oberaudorf.
