Von Nürburg gehts hinunter nach Adenau und dort links am Ortsende nach Honerath und Wirft. In Kirmutscheid überquert man die B258 und fährt dann auf Nebenstraßen mit leichten Steigungen und Gefällen durch die Vulkaneifel nach Kelberg. Nach Kelberg kommt man wieder auf etwas mehr befahrene Straßen über Welcherrath nach Meuspath und ist zurück am Ring.
Die Landschaft ist beeindruckend (wenn die Sonne scheint !) und bietet absolute Erhohlung.
Achtung: Wenn es geht vermeidet die Strecke an Wochenenden zu fahren, da rund um den Ring (bis Adenau und dann wieder ab Welcherath) ziemlich viel Motorradfahrer unterwegs sind.
